The location at Syke Farm Campsite - Yurt'S was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and nearby lakes and waterfalls to explore. The yurt itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed playing board games by the log fire in the evenings, creating lasting family memories. The local pub and cafe also served delicious food, adding to the overall enjoyment of our trip. Despite a minor inconvenience with the cooler, we were still able to have a great time. I highly recommend this campsite for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

The location was absolutely beautiful with stunning views and peaceful surroundings. It was a short walk to two lakes and a breathtaking waterfall. The yurt itself was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and took great care of the campsite, even making sure everyone's tents were secure in the strong winds. The nearby tea room was a delightful addition, offering delicious food and lovely service. It was truly one of my best UK holidays ever!

There were a few minor downsides to my stay. The roads leading to the location were a bit challenging due to the mountainous terrain, but the scenic views along the way made up for it.

The yurt at Syke Farm Campsite had beautiful views and was comfortable and cosy for my friends and me. The shared showers and toilets were the cleanest and nicest I've ever seen at a campsite. The location was perfect for exploring the mountains and lakes, with a stunning waterfall and old rustic church nearby. We enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen area and playing card and board games by the log fire in the evenings.

Felt like treated like royalty, no complaints at all.

The yurt provided a cozy and comfortable stay with thoughtful amenities such as a log stove, blankets, and board games. The location was beautiful, surrounded by nature and a peaceful stream. Additionally, the campsite offered convenient access to nearby facilities and attractions, including a cafe with delicious vegan options.

The bed could be improved with a new mattress as it was uncomfortable and caused us to constantly roll into the middle. Also, the yurt had issues with water seeping through the floor during heavy rain, requiring us to be cautious with placing our belongings.

The location was absolutely breathtaking with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The yurt itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the log fire in the evenings, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The shared showers and toilets were the cleanest and nicest we've ever seen at a campsite. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everyone's needs were met.

The lack of information provided about nearby pubs and restaurants was a bit disappointing, as we struggled to find a place to eat. It would have been helpful to have some suggestions or leaflets provided.

The location was unbeatable, with Buttermere and Crummock water just a short walk away. We were surrounded by breathtaking walks and enjoyed the most unbelievable night sky. The yurt itself was amazing, offering comfort and cosiness. The well-stocked kitchen and clean yurt were a bonus, and we loved the hot water bottles and the option for a very hot shower for just 50p. We can't wait to come back!

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to a charming village with a great pub/restaurant. The comfortable beds were a definite highlight, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. I also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of leaving a pot of 50p's for the shower, it was a nice touch and very useful.

The yurt was quite cold during our stay in May. The small stove provided didn't give off much heat and instead produced a lot of smoke.

Absolutely everything had been thought of - every effort had been made and we wanted for nothing. Little bonuses like a bowl of 50ps for the showers, firewood and kindling sets to make fire lighting easy, board games etc added to the lovely experience. The bed was so comfy, the location absolutely stunning and there was a brilliant range of spaces - space for a fire pit/bbq, private outdoor bench with a gorgeous view - we were spoiled for choice! There're so many beautiful walks right from your doorstep and the associated cafe and the pub just up the road were nice treats after a long walk :) Didn't want to go home! The Yurt was very comfortable, clean and cosy for me, my husband and two teenage children. The outside off the grid toilet was very clean and not far from the yurt. The showers were shared with other campers and were the cleanest and nicest toilets and shower I've ever seen and used at a campsite. It all seemed very new and well organised. Plenty of car parking space despite them being in high season. It wasn't too busy either. These are the quieter lake areas and not as touristy. Which we liked but might not be for those who want more sociability. The mountains and lakes are on your doorstep with a beautiful waterfall and old rustic small church to visit. It was just what we wanted for a few days that we were there. We ended up travelling to a small village nearby to buy food to cook in the kitchen area next to the Yurt and this had all you needed a hob, some pans, cutlery, plates and cups etc. We all loved the log fire in the yurt and once we worked out where to get the logs from we enjoyed lovely card and board games by the fire in the evenings with wine for us and treats for the kids. Amazing location, within easy walking distance to Buttermere and Crummock water. Surrounded by excellent walks and unbelievable nights sky.

    Felt completely happy, no complaints.
